After reading some of my articles in the news section you probably found out I prefer spinning reels. Next question you're going to ask is why? Well because of it's ease of use. All you have to flip open the reel, hold onto the line and cast. The other reels just have too much complications. My Dad uses spincast, I notice when he holds onto the button it sometimes slips. And baitcast you can get backlash, something us fisherman never want to deal with. Also another good thing about spinning reels is they are open faced, you would think that's a negative quality but it isn't. Since they are open faced, you are able to clean the real and apply line a lot quick when needed. I've never had any tanglements with spinning reels, I believe they are truly the most sold reel to use when fishing. You'll notice a lot of pro fisherman use them a lot.
