So what does it take to catch a huge crappie like this?  Well you first have to locate where the crappie fish are hanging out at, then pick a nice size lure.  Chances are, the bigger fish are going to biting on bigger size lures. 

The crappie in this picture was well over two pounds, it weighed in at 2 pounds and 6 ounces.  The length of this crappie was 17.5 inches, pretty dam huge.  I sure haven't caught a crappie like this yet.  Congrats to the little fella in the picture that caught this crappie.
