Bass Pro Shops: The Strike Review

Check this new bass fishing video game for the Xbox 360, it sure does sound sweet after reading the review on Team Xbox. By the way, the writers over there gave it a 7.8 out of 10, not bad! They said it's a pretty fun game, but in order to reap the benefits you must buy the custom reel controller. From the picture up above you can see the controller, it's just like a real fishing reel, fits in the palm of your hand perfectly. You're able to cast with it and also reel with it. And when you catch a fish, you can actually feel the fish fighting.

The only negative thing about the game is it doesn't look very good. While steering your boat around lakes, large sections of the mountainside on shore will pop in and out, flickering like a bad strobe. Alligators in the water will swim in front of you then vanish in the blink of an eye, eventually reappear later. But this doesn't change the fact that it is actually the best fishing experience you’ll find on the X360.
